Key consolidated results as of March 31, 2018
• Operating cash flow (EBITDA* - CAPEX) grew by 2.8% YoY to €285 million • Successfull synergies achievement drove EBITDA* margin at 36.1%, up 130 bps YoY (at costant accounting principles) notwithstanding EBITDA* reduction to €509 million • Significant positive effect from the refinancing of the capital structure completed in November 2017, with a reduction of annual interest rate to approximately 2.7%. Financial expenses decreased by 39.5% YoY, totalling €104 million • Market competitive pressure remained high in the first quarter, driving a reduction of both total revenue, -8.9% YoY to €1,410 million, and service revenue, -7.1% to €1,220 million • Mobile internet revenue increased by 1.1% YoY • Fixed line revenue broadly stable at €294 million

Wind Tre first Telco offering the Google Home products at their launch in Italy
Wind Tre is the first telco offering to all the people passionate about technology an important novelty, just launched in Italy: Google Home smart speaker, also in the Google Home Mini version. The new “smart home” products by Google will be available from April in Wind and 3 stores, also in combination with the both brands’ offers.

The largest Italian mobile operator is born
On 31 December 2016, VimpelCom (now VEON) and CK Hutchison formally launched the company which will be leader on the Italian telecoms market panorama. In the coming years, Wind Tre will provide huge investments in digital infrastructures for more and more reliable and faster network services, in order to contribute to the Country’s digital transformation.
The EU Commission approved CK Hutchison and VimpelCom (now VEON) joint venture. The joint venture will unlock €7 billion of investment in Italy’s digital infrastructure, supporting growth across the Country.
CK Hutchison and VimpelCom (now VEON) received final approval from the Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) in Italy for their 50/50 joint venture to merge the mobile businesses of 3 Italia and Wind.
CK Hutchison and VimpelCom (now VEON) formally completed the transaction to combine their businesses in Italy. Shareholders can now begin finalizing the formal integration of the two companies.
From January 2017 Wind Tre is operational. The company aims at becoming the key reference player for the fixed-mobile integration and for the development of the new generation fiber networks.
CK Hutchison and VimpelCom (now VEON) announced an agreement to form a 50/50 joint venture to own and operate their telecommunications businesses in Italy.
